Question Bulb help plz.

I'm looking to improve my visibility at night without breaking the bank and I have been reading the forums about different bulb replacements over the stock bulb and have decided to try the Sylvania SilverStar.

My Question is what replacement bulb would I need (model number) for a 2013Forty-Eight I don't want to take a chance burning any wires or parts running too high of amps . Any help would be much appreciated.

I see you found your answer, but for anyone else that stumbles upon this thread, I think PIAA can't be beat. I have this bulb and it is much brighter than stock: http://www.piaa.com/store/p/162-H4-N...ogen-Bulb.aspx. BTW, an H4 bulb is what you need. If you don't mind a blue tint, PIAA also makes an anti-vibration bulb: http://www.piaa.com/store/p/157-H4-S...ogen-Bulb.aspx. I chose the Night Tech bulb because it glows white, but both bulbs are made for power sports which indicates they should be vibration resistant. Haven't had a problem with mine so far.

I replaced mine as well when I first got my bike with the Sylvania's, they were ok but still didn't like them on super dark country roads here in TX, especially with deer in the woods. Went to HID and then decided I would go with LED's. Replaced the stock bucket with a 7" and went to the Phase7 Truck LED light and replaced the stock turn signal bulbs with Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz. To me, this is perfect and I get great visibility
