I own a 2009 883XL. Last year I had triked it due to health issues. I'm buying a 21" front rim for it that matches up with my back tires. I was asked the size of my front axle called the two harley dealers in my area and neither one could help me. I measured what sticks out of forks which is 1 inch, did I do the right measuring is what I need to find out.

 

Front axle is 25mm diameter and the length should be for a narrow glide front end.
