Make sure the set includes a T-27. Many sets do not and you have to buy it separately.

I tried the Lisle brand to save a few bucks.

After twisting two of them off, I switched to Sears Craftsman and have not had a repeat of the problem.

Don't buy cheap ones. You'll twist them off and end up buying new ones anyways. Take the Craftsman advice. Don't ask me how I know![:@]

I also like the Craftsman Torx. I've broken 2 of them and both times Sears replaced the entire set for free.

My big set of Vermont American screwdriver bits included the ones I need so far - they fit in a 1/4" socket, so I can use a ratchet or screwdriver with them. So, check your screwdriver bit set. Never thought I'd use the things...

You'll also need a set of hex sockets as well.

And ditto on making sure the torx has T-27, it's quite common on our bikes, and not so common in torx sets.

What should I expect to pay for the craftsmans Torx, the Lisle are guaranteed same as Craftsman.

I also heard that the progressive Torx are the way to go, SK makes them I supose Mac and Snap On also. SK $98.00

Lisle $35.00

I would stay away from lisle. I bought a T-27 from then and it was ****. It was more like a T-25 and was just ready to strip bolts.
