I wouldn't worry about it, the seal is not under any oil pressure. It's just splashing from the primary oil, which is only a quart flying around anyway.

My seal is 23 years old and only weeps a drop occasionally, no big deal. My cylinders weep a bit of oil at the bases if I have not ridden in a while, but it stops too. Just carry a hanky, wipe it off, ride hard, and keep smiling.

That's a possibility. It only started when we hit the low 30 s up here. It's a small stream under the shaft and only while its being ridden.

Never saw tis happen , except after a service , i dont understand how a man can make such a mess of someones bike , just changing the oil. the only reason i can think of is they just dont care. this is why i dont go too the stealership anymore.

I've got 500 miles.since I did my clutch upgrade. Changed seal preventively. No leaks. I also replaced the bushing inside the primary cover that sits behind the seal. Check your primary inspection cover. These are notorious to leak and may need the newly designed cover and gasket. Also when installing new shaft seal coat the inside and outside with a little primary fluid.

You are not doing your primary any favors buy warming your engine up,all that does is make condensation form in your primary, start it when you can ride it.

This is not good for your bike. You should NOT be starting and warming up your bike over the winter. Get a battery tender, plug it in and leave it until you are ready to ride it for at least 20 minutes. You are causing condensation to build up in your motor and primary and not doing your battery any favors either.
