Default Mustang Fastback Seat

Ok, so it has been about a week since I installed the Mustang Fastback Seat on my 09 1200C. After about 600 miles of riding on the seat, I must say that I couldnt be more pleased with it.

The seat takes about 500 miles to break in good, but well worth it. This seat provides outstanding support to the lower back area, and really lets you lean back into it. The seat did raise me up about 1 inch from the stock seat, and maybe about 1/2 back.

If you are looking for a good seat (as I know many have asked about on the forum) this is a great addition. I paid $244.00 shipped from Dennis Kirk and it arrived about 3 days after I placed the order.

I'm really been considering this seat. Thanks for the review!
Have you rode a passenger yet? How did they feel about it?

I also bought my first mustang seat for Dennis Kirk. It's the rsd cafe (same as the fastback without passenger pad). I hated it at first but after the break in I love it. Top notch quality and Dennis Kirk has always been a dream to work with.

I have not ridden a passenger on the seat yet, but the passenger area is not as wide as the stock seat area, but there is more padding on the Mustang seat

I will be taking a trip from San Antonio to see my Baby Girl in Baton Rouge at LSU next month, so I will give another report after the 1000 mile round trip with the seat.

Great looking seat! I'll look forward to hearing back from you after that trip. That will be the true test. I had a LePera Solo on my softail, and I was totally fugging miserable after 1.5 hours ... and would dread the thought of the ride back. Hopefully this one will work out real good for you.

Agree...had the same seat on my 05 XL1200C. Nice style & 1000x ride improvement.
