Don't limit yourself to H-D only parts, unless there is some reason not stated in your post, like a dealership gift card.
Otherwise, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the Memphis Shades offerings before pulling the trigger.

Ya'll are great - really appreciate your thoughts and opinions.
I'm 5'2" so shouldn't have to do any cuttingon which ever one I go with. Windshields on Sportsters aren't my favorite look, but investing in one for the long hauls seem like the way to go. Definetly will be going with the detachable style, one that's smoke tinted, I think.

I have the Switchblade 2-up windshield and chrome lowers. The windshields pop right off but will lock in place for security. I'll be getting the tinted shorty for the warmer months. But the great thing is that I can switch between the two in seconds.
