*Can't remember the name* saddlebags and Great Bike Gear turn-signal relocation/layback plate. Underneath the bags are a Drag Specialties saddlebag support kit.

These are Ameritex bags I got at half price with free shipping as they were discontinued. They are rather large but look OK. The passenger can get her feet on the rear pegs and I didn't have to move the turn signals

Nice, shows the bikes have not changed much over the years, just enough that parts are not interchangeable.

Mine came with the hardbags, their ok, lockable but small, I would go for the normal hardbag with a conversion kit.

Default saddlebags large or small?

I have tried 2 types of saddlebags on my 05 Sportster, the tasselly ones, robbed off my sons Drifter look a bit overpowering (BIG!) but the smaller ones look more suited but are-smaller!

With the boattail, it must be around a '71.
I like that "turtle" tank.
Earlier Sportstours had "bubble bags".

I ain't got any pics but I have the HD Sportster bags on my 06. I just wanted to mention another option for turn signal relocation if you have to. I put this on my bike right below the brake light.....

Wasn't hard at all. Drilled 2 holes and done.
