If you keep looking you might find a deal, but if she likes the paint and the bike is sound... Ask about some kind of service records, or receipts, that doesn't sound bad to me
I would wait for spring to break...there will be a lot more bikes on the market and the prices may go down...in this part of the world that bike would go for around $2600-$2800 depending on extras....I bought a 2000 883 hugger last year with 6800 miles for $3000....also I wouldn't knock ridgid mounts..above 75 they vibrate but otherwise they are great and they are better in the corners than the wimpy, girly, rubber mount sporties....
