Default Z Bar Question

Hey everyone, I've been riding my sportster for about a year and the time has come where I want to swap the bars. I'm still totally new to the motorcycle world so I need some help. I want to buy biltwell keystone bars but I'm not sure what's needed to swap them out. At the moment I have a 2002 883 hugger with stock bars on it. The bars are a bit high already so I don't think I'll have to change the wiring at all but will any other problems arise? Can I use the stock grips/housings? Any help would be great, thanks.

Here's a link to the bars I want

Everything should stretch. Wiring might be an issue.

I had 6" risers and drag bars and went to 10" z bars and all the stock lines / wires worked

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the stock grips and everything will fit onto the bars? The swap seems like a pretty simple job but I'm just trying to make sure before I make any mistakes.

Should all fit... the right grip is a bitch though because of the throttle cables so beware

Just take your time and be careful to be sure the throttle cables stay in their channels and remain hooked in at the end...I had to split the twist back open because I didn't get it the first time but then I was all set

I just put on a set on Biltwell Zed bars on my 48, i also got there whiskey throttle which is amazing and i recommend, but everything fit on those no problem, had to move the brake line a little bit, you can loosen the nut on the end on your lever and turn it, but only loosen a touch so you dont let any air in the line. and if you got dimpled bars your install will be even easier, i didnt get the dimples but still used all the controls by cutting a slot in the bottom of the switches. the throttle is easy, if one of the cables pops outs its fine, just grab a pair of needle nose and guide it back in.
