Default DIY Project: Front turn signal relocation

So I completed a cheap relocation project tonight, started two days ago working a fews mins after work the past two nights and finished it up tonight. Before (left) and after (right).

Got the "how to" from the XLForums:
http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/s...d.php?t=916453

For under $10, it can't be beat. I couldn't justify spending more than that on relocating the signals so hunted down ideas for a do-it-yourself and found the one above.

Figured I would share.

Very cool, thanks for posting that Aces. One of my stock stems broke and I didn't want to replace it because they stuck out too far. This will be perfect.

Cool. I did the HD ones, not happy with them sticking out, going for the Ness relocation kit when I stop in at JP Cycles next week down in Daytona.

Worse case I might end up doing the same thing if the Ness ones don't meet my liking.

Thanks for the info

Looks sharp! That's a great DIY relocation with easy to find & inexpensive materials, kudo's to the originator and looks like a nice job by you! Question; this is a pretty common mod which has me wondering...is there an actual purpose to this, like uncluttering the handlebars, or is it just to be different, or? Help a brutha out here, LOL.

It cleans up the handle bars for sure. Looks better too, in my opinion at least.
