I'm not far from New Orleans at all i'm directly in between New Orleans and Baton Rouge in St. James Parish. i'll actually be in New Orleans thursday night and sunday. how's the ride with them, comfortable? and did you ever have any problems with the bars slipping on you any as far as coming loose on the mount? I've never really heard of people being stopped for their bars to much out here, i don't think they push the issue to much unless someone has a pretty bad attitude with them.

Thanks man, i like the height on them from looking at the picture. glad to hear that they never slipped. i'm 5'7" so it might be a little higher on me maybe but i think ima go with the 16". did you change the bars yourself or did you get someone to put them on for you?

I have mine on 4" Risers, 16 inch Burly Brand with the Burly cable kit.
If you do the install yourself pull the stock wires thru the bars first, they
will stick out about 3" then add the extensions, much easier.

I installed mine myself, if you do it just label all your wires. I used bare butt connectors and soldered all the connections, a bit of over kill but I did not want any problems later.

Here is a another option, Harley has a handle bar switch set with 60" wires and conectors
And for $160 that's not bad.
