Got my bars installed this week along with my new PCV from Fuel Moto. I'm dying to go for a ride, but the weather has not cooperated as yet. I used the Burly kit for the bars, and after some swearing and drinking, decided to solder the wiring connections as I was not comfortable with the positivity(or lack thereof) of the connections. Made a few minor blunders during the process that caused me to learn more than I maybe should have It's all good experience though, and I get to know my bike better and better through these projects. I love the way it came out, and my position on the bike feels really good now, can't wait to hit the road with it!

They look good.. I run the 12" version myself, I think the narrow base looks great on sportsters.

edit: you need to move or ditch that speedo now!

 

Thanks guys, I'm really pleased with it. I did get to go out for a ride today, a short one at 38 degrees, but it's awesome. Between the new bars and the PCV, it's a different bike!

Thought about a speedo move, not sure I mind where it is now honestly. We'll see! I've got some other big plans coming too.
