Default S&S SB Series Engines

How good are these crate engines? Do they make more Torque/HP than stock 1200 or Buells?

Do they fit into any frame a regular Evo Sporty would?

You should spend a little time browsing S&S's website! They will only fit rigid mount Sporty frames, not a rubber-mount. They don't comply with any EPA regs and are not politically correct, so with 100" are likely to blow away any pip-squeak stock 74" Sporty or Buell. From what I have read they are not for the feint-hearted!

+1 what he said!!!!

My friend built one... They use a 4speed (its a 5 speed) case modified and they are TALLER! My friend modified the frame.

Afterward he wished he went with a 88 or 90 kit... Or something smaller... (1250) it actually SCARED him he said it was way fast and it did wheelies and burn outs on command...

Now this was a guy who used to drag race 1500cc Suzuki gs1100... in the late 80's- early 90's

Our Bonneville tuned 1650 (100") w/Zippers billet heads dyno'd at about 158HP. *ANY* 100" XL engine is going to pull your arms outta their sockets.

About three times stock! It would be great to see a photo of your bike, as it will probably be the very first SB100 seen on HDF, even if it isn't a road bike.
