I searched and couldnt find the answer. Can you put Iron wheels on a 48? If so, do you need to do anything to modify them?

Should be doable, you'll likely need the correct spacers though.

 

Rear should be a direct swap, front youll have to fiddle with spacers. Anything is possible with enough head scratching. Im putting the rear wheel off my 883 on the front of my 48...........now theres some head scratching.

 

Yes, the rear should be simple swap.
The 19" front will require:
-raising the fork brace with spacers & longer bolts
-axle spacers
-brake disc spacers & longer bolts
