Just a heads up ..

Was supposed to pick up the bike today after getting the new 4.5 gal tank installed. The dealer called me around 10 am and told me that I needed a voltage regulator (the purchasing dealer already replaced it) .

 

It's not impossible... but you might ask the particulars as why he thinks so...

I'm sure where you had it done before has some type of warranty on the work they do... or at least I would hope so...

Didn't they have a recall about the regulator and front fender? or was that the '07?

 

I thought I saw a recall on a nudder board for the 06 regulator ...

The purchasing dealer (and the dealer where I bought pre maintenance plan) replaced one and the dealer that is a little better for service; they get all the other warranty work and extras; is replacing the second because the check engine and battery light come on occasionally.
