Default battery cables

need to replace my battery cables. need to know if there are any specail tools i need for the job. if you could tell me or help out that would be great. thanks

What year is your bike? I replaced both battery cables on my 83 this winter and it didn't require any special tools. Standard wrenches worked in my case.

Don't know about the '98 but just had mine ('04)apart adding a Battery Tender pigtail andjust used the standard wrenches......
