Default 2013 '72 turn signal question

I recently bought the chopped fender edge light for my bike and I also have a set of smoked bullet visors for the rear that I plan to switch to (comes with amber bulbs). Is there a way to keep the amber signals dim like daylight running lights without them activating when I apply the brakes and only when I use my signals? If that makes any sense.

Haven't had time to install them and I am just wondering before I start messing with it.

Thanks.

So you want your signals to act as "signals only" and lose their current brake function, then have your center fender light illuminated as your running light.

When you apply the brakes, the center fender light will be the only one to get brighter.

Did I understand you correctly?

Correct. Basically I want them to act like the fron turn signals. No brake, just DRL and signals.

I kinda thought about getting that same light but only if I could get it to act as a third brake light...I wouldn't want it as a running light at all

I think u got it wrong. I want the stock turn signals as running light and not act like break lights while the fender edge light runs as it is meant to.

Anyways...I went to the dealership and apparently (like i thought) it's computer controled.

And get it..it looks awesome.

nah, I hear what you're saying, but I was wanting the setup to do the exact opposite of what you mean

I'd only want the middle light to function sort of as a third brake light in a car does

moreso just to avoid some drunk jackass slamming into me when riding at night and stopped
