Default air shocks

Does anyone know if an 04 Electra glide air shocks will fit a 12 883 iron? I know I will need to add washers and Schrader valves. And what psi to put in for 220lbs rider.

Yes, they will fit. You might want to use some lowering blocks, because it will sit higher than stock.

As far as PSI, play around with it, but it will probably ride best between 5-10 PSI for 220 lbs.

I run about 12 in mine because of the angle I have them at. and I weight 180. You just have to play with them for comfort.

This.

I found that with lowering blocks, I need run a bit higher psi, more like 15 for me at 200lbs.

Get a good pump that will let you make accurate adjustments, a little change can make a big difference. If I am out riding 2 up, I add 5psi or so, if I forget to bleed it off, I know it pretty quick on the next solo ride.

Will these shocks just bolt right on? I was told i probably need to add 3 washers to each bolt on the shock. Will that require new bolts or can i still use the factory shock bolts?

The washers are used to gain clearance for the upper belt guard. The stock bolts will work fine.
