Thanks guys I pulled the carb, replaced all fuel lines and also the manifold gasket seal for the carb. Runs perfect now and what a relief. I was losing sleep over this one!
Forgot to say that I pulled the carb and cleaned it. Also I found a loose piece on the end of the sparkplug that screws onto plug for plugwire to snap on. But got it going and nice to hear that thunder again
Its a 1994 1200 with 23,000 miles. Problem just started out of nowhere and have been riding it weekly or more for the past year. I had the carb tuned and jetted and has ran perfect for the past year.it doesent cut out sitting still only when riding and u start to get in it hard. Any info is appreciated. Thanks guys
I am having the same issue I am thinking my Rev Limiter may be going bad. I rebuilt the carb yesterday and still does it when getting on the throttle hard. I did go from a small flywheel sprocket to a larger 1993 to 2006. It may be over reving. I will revert back soon. If not I may need the limiter from the 2006 set up.
