Default 96 Sporty with FXSTS springer front end

I have a 96 Sporty with a FXSTS springer front end. The springer is -2" from stock, the sporty has stock rake, running a 130-90 16 on the front. Wheel is within an 1/8" of center. I get a wobble when I get over 60mph. I have the orginal rockers and springs for the springer, if I put the springer back to orginal, will it increase my trail?

Did the wobble start when you switched the front end? My dad had this problem with his heritage springer, turns out that it was his front tire. We replaced the front tire and wala! it never wobbled again. just a thought

Default wobble

The whole front end is new for this bike. Everything I have been finding about people running -2" springers, they are using either a 19" or 21" wheel. Because I am running a 16", I was thinking I have to little trail. My current plan is to put the stock springs and rockers back on and see what that does. Thanks.

Put the orginal rockers and springs back on, now the brake anchor stud is touching the side of my 16" tire. What are my options? Can I remove the stud and use a button head bolt to hold the Heim joint on the brake anchor rod? Do I have to cut it off and drill and tap it for the bolt, or do I just shorten the bolt drill a hole through it and use a cotter pin to hold the barake anchor rod? Thanks for any and all help.
