My "new" 883
So I purchased an 883 HD from another member of this site.
This is not my first bike, and I've been riding almost my entire life. But this is my first Harley. I've had it a month now and love it.
When I seen this bike for sale I knew I would do anything to get it. I own a small tractor trailer repair business in north central texas. And love custom bikes, cars, trucks, even furniture. If its well built then I appreciate it. The way this bike was set up you would think I built it myself.
The previous owner directed me here, and I've been on almost everyday. I read through all 250 something pages of the sportster game, and offer general mechanical advise where I can.
So without further delay here is the bike that I purchased.
And here is a picture of my non HD 1967 Triumph, currently on the rebuild.

Nothing major. I have a small powder coat set up in my garage. I plan on powder coating the controls, and foot pegs bc of the amount of use friction.
I've done other minor adjustments to it like re route the clutch cable. Move some wiring to make it more comfortable to me ect.
I've played around with some of my spent ammo casings to see if I could use those as some bolt covers.honestly though I am very happy with the bike and dont plan on anything major.
I've got a lot of customizing to do the triumph, and the sad part is that most of what I wanted to do to the triumph has already been done to this Harley. So I dug back through some of my sketches and changed up some of my plans so that I wouldn't have two bikes that mirrored each other.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm enjoying these boards and don't plan on going anywhere. And thanks to street fighter for building such an awesome machine.
