Greetings. I recently purchased and installed a PCV on my 2012 seventy-two. The Install was a little time consuming but overall it went fine and everything fit perfectly into place. When I tried to upload my map, I realized that I purchased and installed the wrong PCV. I bought the model for an XR1200, not the XL1200. Can I make this one work, or do I need to return it and exchange for the correct model?

 

why not contact power commander and ask them, they will have all the answers.

 

Who did you buy it from? You can call them or call Dyno Jet and ask. They have various
model numbers for the PCV depending on year of bike. My PCV is for a 2009 and up 1200 sportster but it works on my 2007...so...I did check that the XR1200 has a different model number than mine.

 

Thanks fellas. I contacted DynoJet and it will not work. I need to return it and exchange it for the correct model.
