Default LED Taillight anyone?

I just purchased LED lo profile, not the laydown, taillight off of ebay
Made by kuryakyn.
Looks like it would be shorter than the stock taillight.

Does anybody have one? if so, how do they look?

I just put a smoked one on my bike. If by "shorter" you are referring to how much it sticks out the back, it is considerably shorter. I like it because it it tucks under my fender nicely.

I wish someone made a near-flush LED light that didn't cost $300.

Have you seen the new one on the SE bike (Dyna, I think) w/ the bobbed fender. I drool everytime I see it.

I just put the Kuryakyn smoked low-profile LED on my bike too. I'll bet it's about half the size of the stock taillight. I'm not sure if I like it though. I think the stock light may be brighter.

I think you're right; it doesn't seem as bright. But I still like it, though. I think it looks better.

Yep Cajun,
Same here. I also have the rear turn signal LEDs (Kuryakyn) that work as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. They seem much brighter than the taillight.
