The Harley shop sold the Rush slip-ons for around $265 with an hour labor for install. I also had it tuned at the time to include the SE a/c that I put on a few days earlier. Didn't need a race tuner.

Got the cycle shack slip ons today.. holy smoke - they sound fantastic. especially compared to the stock fart cans it came with.

It seems there was an improvement, plenty quick! though I really didn't get to ride it much before having it done... Maybe 30 miles or so.. Don't think I'd need it to be any faster.

cycle shack, another one to check out. I can't decide on pipes, mufflers, just know I don't like the stock ones.

I had a question for you guys, how do you think the Nightster would be for two up riding? My wife wont ride a lot but I would like to bring her sometimes, plus its got to be better then riding on the back of a sportbike. What are your thoughts?
The Nighty is a solo-only bike. Even if you could find a 2-up seat and peg conversion, you would also need to upgrade the suspension - and at that point, you've pretty much lobotomized the bike - and it more than likely STILL wouldn't even be as comfortable for your wife as the CBR.

If you want the"attitude" of the Nightster but want to ride 2-up, you might want to check out the Sportster 1200L.

They made the fender to put a 2 up seat on it (second mounting hole on the fender), but other than that this is a solo bike.

I put a pillion seat on and the mounting brackets for the pegs. I'm ordering OEM pegs for the rear, more expensive , but I think they'll look a look alot better. Also going to get a solo rack as soon as they come out in black or atleast polished so I can powder coat it.
