RE: Anyone with a Nightster yet?
[quote] kellys blue book is showing trade in value on a 2006 street bob in good condition at about 9,500. I think your going to take a beating and it wouldnt be worth it . try to sell your bike you should get more out of it than 9500 bucks.
You're probably right, my Street Bob was damn near 16000 out the door, I've got about 1500 in accessories into it. I was sick of it a few months after I bought it.I tried to sell it for 14000 OBO for weeks without even 1 call. I think I would have been happier with a Sportster, I've always liked Sportsters and now they come out with one set up almost exactly the way I would have built one if I had it all to do over again. I'm in no big hurry though the weather sucks for ridin nowdays anyway.

I dont know if I would ever trade in a BT 88 for a 1200 (74 CI) straight up. It seems like a big step down to a 1200. IMO, the sportster and the dyna are both almost the same bike, but the BT is a much bigger engine.

Have you ever ridden a TC 88? If not you are not giving the 1200 enough respect, it will walk away from the big twin.

I liked the side mount plate as well. But it looks like you can neve rput saddelbags on it then? And if it falls over in the direction its bent up into your bike. But on a cool note, it looks sweet, plus if you havn't seen one in person. You can push and or pull the plate braket and it will move back and forth to help keeping you from breaking it. And on another note i sat on one today. Wow wat a bike. it looked sweet, felt sweet and seemed real fast.
