Default bags for a '48?

I am sure I am not the first to ask but I'd be interested in folks' suggestions for bags for a 2012 '48. I LOVE the clean look of the bike but there are times when I need to carry a few things and am not liking the backpack option....

Thots?

La Rosa solo bag or Licks solo bag. It's what I have on my 48 and probably the majority here. They fit the bike very well! Search for pics.

plunderdog bags are really nice as well... takes a while to get them... but they are great quality.

Default plunderdogs

I recommend you check www.plunderdog.com
They are not the biggest saddle bags, but they sure are about the best quality you can get. Mount/remove in a few seconds, no need for any additional hardware. I like them very much on my bike.

Best, niv

p.s. obviously, while I was taking my time to write those few lines, someone else had the same idea, hahaha

...and are expensive. However, they are well-made and worth it.

I like how Rog48 bike looks with bags. You can see it in the last post in this thread-

Default great stuff!

all - thanks much for the suggestions. leaning towards the plunderdog -- def not the cheap option -- but looking hard at the larosa and licks, too. I like the solo bags but not sure they're going to be big enough to make it worthwhile....not looking to pack up the kitchen sink, tho...

thanks again for the tips

If you want bags that hold more, are detachable and lockable you could go with these:

There is a write up on them (on a dyna) here:https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ide-glide.html

You don't have to relocate your turn signal or license plate to mount them on you 48. Prices start at $679, if you would like more info on them, just drop me a pm and I can send you an e-brochure on them. Make sure you include your email address (can't attach large files here).

Keep ridin'
Garry
