Wow, I'd kill to have rates like that. Where I live it is 5 times that at least...

 

20/40/10 is pretty low.
I carry max insurance, but I have a home and other assets that I'd rather not lose.

For the privilege, I paid $1200 last year, but I'm down to I think $900 this year.

 

Those limits are really, really low. They must be State Minimum limits. You need to increase them. Professionally I will not write less than 100/300/100 liability limits. Plus those are just liability limits. What about physical damage? Do you have Comprehensive and Collision. Theft & Fire is not Comprehensive. Sorry, I'm an insurance agent and this is scarry to me.

 

We ordered Geico one time, Very low over phone and internet, we bought it. Next day they called and wanted alot more money. We cancealed, they would not refund money until we proved we did not have a lapse in insurance between the two. Still billed us for something like 40.00, we never cancealed the original.

 

I bet it has no Personal Injury coverage for you the rider.

 

Not with Geico, Mine is $204.00 Per six months with Full coverage. Mid range.

 

$236/yr with hefty limits. So for low coverages, that doesn't surprise me.

I had GIECO insurance for a year, WAY back when the company started. It's a long story, but, if they were the only insurance co in the world....I'd just ride "self insured".
