When to use battery tender?

I always use a tender when my bikes are at home.

So this thread has me wondering - where do you leave your tenders quick disconnect cable? Recently put the quick disconnect with LED on my 2012 Sportster but can't decide where to leave the cable out, was hoping to hook it up to the 12V accessory port but the OEM one is entirely to big until I get a bag of some sort.

I get so few chances to ride that my scoot's always flat when I try to start up.

I'm also just going to connect my charger.

I wish I had a job where I could just ride to work and back home every day.

I have my pigtail snaked from the battery down the inside of the battery cover and then looped slightly up from the bottom of the battery cover on the left side of the bike. The pigtail is always ready to be plugged in - just remove its tethered cover and it's plug-n-charge...
