Did the wheels come with (rubber) wheel bands? It's a rubber strip (think huge rubber band) that goes on the rim to cover the spoke nipples on the inside of the wheel. It keeps the nipples from damaging the tube.

 

The rim strips? Yeah, they're both there.

 

Isn't that mid glide front hub too wide for your narrow glide front end?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I guess I'll find out.
