XKnight-

Is that seat a Sicksaddle? How comfortable is it over factory?

I guess that's a stupid question because a rock is more comfortable than the stock seat.

Love your 72s Gents.

Yes, that's a Sick Saddles seat and it is much more comfortable than stock. I don't slide off the seat anymore during hard acceleration like on the stock seat. Excellent upgrade for a solo seat.

Default blue betty...

  1. Flipped the mirrors below the bars (upside down / reverse)
  2. Moved the signals below the headlight on the tree
  3. Changed the seat out with a Harley "bobber - spring" version.. I like it.
  4. (there are SO many out there to choose from.)
  5. Installed the Harley chopped fender LED tail light.
  6. Installed Cycle Shack slip ons with a new air filter (same cover) and download.
  7. Lastly (to date) La Rosa La Fondina Gun Holster Style bags.

Lovin' where it's headed. Next, a few more inches to the bars.

To avoid image overload, here's a link to some: http://cypher-sec.org/72now
with one to start you off.

Just ordered one with white stitching for my 48. Plan on white grips as well.

Mentioned XKnight when I purchased (In case it helps you for future)

nice new, "tell me what's happenen" gauge up front!

How are those solo spring seats?? I've been thinking about getting one, but I sat on one at the dealership and I am not too sure about sitting on it for too long...

It's not bad. There's a bit more bounce than the stock, but I slip right off the stock one! There's more grip to this one (maybe different for others) and the up curve in the rear helps keep you in place.

I like it ALOT more than the stock one!

Sweet...yeah stock one pretty much spits you out. I'm 150lbs and just with the wind pushing against me and the vibration of the bike is enough to slowly push me to the back of the seat. What's the longest you've ridden on it?

I'm the same weight at 5'8". I ride daily and I've ridden it dry... so 75(ish). I typically only get 70(ish) though riding city and highway mixed most of the time.
