Default 2002 1200C Wheel change

Hey everyone,

Been lurking for a few weeks, trying to help out my Dad.

He recently bought a 02 1200C and is wanting to replace the wheels. It currently has the 21" laced wheel up front and the cast wheel out back.

Can the cast front and rear wheels from a 2004 Sportster bolt directly into place? (I'm not sure which Sportster model the wheels came off of)

I was reading that the axle for 00-04 was the same. Can he re-use the current brake set up (front and rear rotor/caliper) or does he have to purchase a new 04 set up?

Any advice or pointing me in the right direction would be great. I did do a search before posting but didn't find what I was looking for.

Thanks,
CBC

yes front wheel from a 2000 will work as long as the bearing is a 3/4 (i think upto 2007)

the rear wheel is different 2000-2004 used a 3/4 axle but 2005-2007 used a 1in and then they switched over to a 25mm...

bottom line is ONLY the inside is different you can swap bearings...
