Default Help with gas tank

I want to put a larger gas tank on my 97 sporster883 what tank do you think I should use for the factory like fit. What website can I buy it from?

Get your hands on a J+P Cycles catalog or visit their website.They have a bunch of tanks for your bike.The link that Alex posted above just happens to be where I bought my bike from.They are an E-bay power seller and pretty good folks to deal with.You can save some money if you buy from them instead of J+P.Check out my tank below...

I had a problem with American Classic Motors that went unresolved... So I have a difference ofopinion... lol

I do like the tank though... needs to have a little more capacity I think...

Sorry to hear about that,Charlie.Shame on them for not making things right.I agree that the tank needs more capacity.Looks like more sheetmetal than anything else.It looks good but 3.5 gallons is about the same as a peanut tank.

I have a black convertable dyna tank that you can buy cheap if you want to try and make it fit. Its a 5 gal capacity.
