Default Anyone...exhaust

Alright so the question here is..does anyone on the forum have a nice set of drag pipes other than the short shots/side shots, nothing against those pipes but I just don't wanna jump on the band wagon I want something that not everyone has and I've been looking like crazy because the dealer gave me a $500 gift card so that'll help out on what I can afford I still have the bassani sweepers or pro streets in mind along with the hooker troublemakers or v&h big radius but just can't decide, I know I want black drag pipes that sound good so any input on the matter will be appreciated

Have a look at Samson and Python. They had a few sets that caught my eye when looking. Similar to short shots but different.

Default Consider spending your $500 elsewhere

I had $500 to spend on a new Sportster at the dealer, I'd start with:

$60 - Service Manual
$10 - Oil Filter wrench
$8 - Oil Filter
$32 - 4 quarts of dino oil
$9 - 1 quart of Formula+
$6 - Harley Lube
$40 - Battery Tender
$140 - SE Air Cleaner
$200 - Heated Gloves
-----------------------------
$505

I didn't have a gift card, but those were the first things I bought. I'm just now getting to the exhaust.

At least invest $60 on the Service Manual.

I have been a fan of the bassani pipes. I am with you.. Like the looks of V-H pipes but everyone and their brother has them. They are nice quality, friend had some on his sporty.

Bassani Sweepers. Got some used chrome ones, powder coated black, chrome shields. This is the 4th different set of pipes in 3 years, and it will be the final set. Finally found the sound, performance, and look I wanted.

take a look at Rush Shorty Sporty's. Come in black ceramic coated. A little diff from Short Shots, prob a little better perf than pure drag pipes but not sure (they have 1.5 in baffles). Here is mine in Chrome. Plenty loud for sure, set's off the neighbors car alarm if I am not careful.
