Burly shocks taken by TSA
Bought a Burly shocks while in Washington DC thinking of bringing it back to my country. Well, just not my luck when TSA told me that it contain compressed air and those won't be allowed on board. Bummer, 150 bucks down the drain.
Anyway, they said I can have someone to pick em up before they dispose in 3-4 days (from 15 December 2012). Unfortunately I have none. So if any of you staying near Dulles Airport wants the shocks, its all yours. Just go to British Airways departure counter and claim it under the name Fadillah Umar.
*UPDATE 07/02/2013
After several PMs and my endless thanks to RONI, I GOT THE SHOCKS BACK!! Right now I think I'm the lucky one but then again I realized it was this great motorcycling community that made this possible and earned my respect.
RONI, many thanks to you and for that, I tip my hat to you sir!

I just signed a form agreeing to the terms and thats it. I didn't ask for telephone numbers but asked for a reference number for the case, but they haven't got any. Their only advice is to have someone claim it at the British Airways counter within 3-4 days.

I stopped by the airport this evening at the British Airways ticket counter. I asked the agent about the shocks. I told him that I didn't have much for him except that there would be 2 Burly Slammer motorcycle shock absorbers. He went in back and looked.
When he came back to the counter, he told me that there were at least 4 different sets of shock absorbers in back, none were marked Burly and that, since he didn't know much about motorcycles, he couldn't tell which was which.
I thought I was out of luck, but he went and talked to another agent who apparently owned a motorcycle. After talking to him, he went in back and came out with the two shocks. Literally, it was just the two shocks. No box, no literature, no adjuster wrench; nothing but the shocks. I guess that's to be expected.
He took my information, some information about the shocks and then released them to me. I put the model no.s stamped on the shocks and confirmed that I have two Burly Slammer 10.5" shocks, model B28-1201.
Very cool. I expected this to be a boondoggle but, as it turns out, these are the two correct shocks for a Harley Sportster.
So, now that I have the shocks in hand, what would you like me to do with them?
