Just tried my MP3 player the other day for the first time and I loved it. I have Sony MP3 player filled with all sorts of music such as Slipknot, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, The Black Keys, Joe Bonamassa, Philip Sayce, Jimi Hendrix and more. Mainly Metal, rock and blues!

25 or more years ago, on a 9000 mile trip around the US, I took a cassette player, but used it mostly in the campgrounds, very rarely while riding, as I want to hear the motor.
If it starts making bad noises, I want to know right away.

It seems people feel they have to do more then one thing at a time, even when having fun on a bike, so maybe get a tv, or text while riding, no way you could just enjoy the riding....

If you have a full face helmet i would reccomend the scala rider, you can plug the IPOD into the device or bluetooth it to it. You can also connect your phone to it, if this is something you are interested in PM me i have a set for sale for 125.

Just rock the ipod. I've noticed the ipod headphones or whatever they are actually called fall out so I bought some with the rubber attached so they stay secure and tight in my ears. Works great! Was kinda sketchy about it when I first started riding, but what the heck now! Rock out.

Oh yeah...forgot to mention I have Denon earbuds with the MP3 player. Blocks all the wind out and I don't have to blast the music so I hear all around me.

Small sony walkman am/fm radio clipped to the left jean pocket w/small headphones. This runs off a AA battery that will last for days. I rather listen to FM because of local traffic reports, NASCAR race, variety of music etc. I started this several yrs ago and now you can't find these types of radio's. 4 yrs ago I stopped in a truck stop and saw 4 of them on a rack and bought all four. The small headphones are no longer available either but I have 3 sets of those. I like the sound of the bike also but with headphones on. Cuts out all the knocking, pinging, rattling, clunking. Just smooth running engine.
