meh i never understood the thing with crash bars and such, i mean when i had a sportbike we used frame sliders but they were discreet
to me if you wanna put all this stuff on you might as well just drive a car lol
You don't understand bc its not your style of riding. Those are marketed toward those of us that beat our bikes like they are sport bikes. People who do wheelies on their harleys and have worn the end of their pegs flat from aggressive riding. When you ride your bike like that, items like this that function like crash pegs on sport bikes become much more appealing.
Has anyone experienced any issues getting down deep and dirty into corners? I just picked these up and wanna see if anyone here has ran into any catastrophic issues.... catching and wrecking bad, etc. Thanks!

I worried too. A few trips to the local twisties and playing with the crotchrocketeers proved no issue. Front tire rolled to the edges with no dragging of bars. BUT I need to mention 13.5 works in the back and works cartridges in the front of my LRS, so I have addl clearance and no sagging ridden hard. I dig the bar setup.
Those things are bitchin!! I have been trying to find something that looked really good and worked. Not a huge fan of the full hoop style crash bars. Anyone have a picture of a set of these on a bike?
Are these things not meant to protect the bike from tip over damage when the bike is stopped(or VERY load speed),i suspect if you dug one of those in,on a high speed sweeper, you'd have a lot more to worry about than weld cracks
