Default Move front turn signals 92 Sportster

I picked up a 92 sportster this summer. Had stock mirrors on it. Problem is my wide shoulders don't let me see behind me much.
I found a wider set of mirrors that I like, however the only problem is that the end of the new mirrors are coarse thread. The thread on the front turn signals are fine.
I have tried a couple of ways, however I like where they are below the bars right now.
Looking for a way that will let me keep them relatively close, instead of relocating to the trees.
Anyone know of something that will work?
I figure while little down time this winter I can find something I like and change them.

I always thought the signals hanging under the bars looked rather out of place. Mine were on the upper triple tree originally and I moved them down to the lower. Makes the bar are look much less busy without the lights, mirrors, etc. all crowded above the trees. Down low you don't really notice them and they look like passing lights next to the headlamp.

They sell Grips with built in turn signals if you want to go that route its a super clean look and not many people have done it. I ran them on a few bikes i built and everyone always complemented on them.
