Lithium-Iron Battery

Lithium-Iron Battery
Time to replace my battery; I’ve never been happy with the marginal performance of the stock battery. Has anyone tried the lithium-iron?

Do they crank the 1200 better? Last longer? I’m willing to dump the $ if it’s really a better performing battery. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks, JF

I had one in my super moto bike. It was under the "phantom" brand. But I guess it's identical or the same as the one you linked our battery guy said. (Oviously different size battery though) The thing felt like plastic. When he delivered it to our shop I thought there was nothing in the box it was so light weight.
He told me you only have to ride the bike 2 times a year to keep it charged. And had an 8 year guarantee. Best battery I bought. Cranked over nice and quick over the stock battery too.

I have a Shorai in my Glide, although I have yet to use it in earnest. The reason I have one is to get a high output battery in a small shape, to start a big engine. Mine was darned expensive, as was the dedicated trickle charger, so don't buy one just because it is light. There are great 'normal' batteries out there with plenty of power, such as Yuasa, who do several different grades with a range of prices to suit all pockets!
