Default nightster and 48 stock handlebar questions.

Any of you guys know the measurements and part numbers for your stock bars? I want some like the ones on my dyna but that are narrower tip to tip and have less rise and even a little more pull back. I think the stock bars on the nightster and 48 are about what I'm looking for. I want to run them with 6 or 8" risers.

Hmmm...I think that is the same as the bars on my 2000 FXDX. I thought nightster and 48 bars only had like 4" rise and were like 29 tip to tip?

Nope, the 48 bars at least are pretty wide. Not real sure what the Nightster/Iron bars are. Those might be a little skinnier and shorter rise.

I'm not totally sure on the measurements, but I know that the Iron and 48 bars are smaller than Nightster bars. The Nightster bars have more pullback and are a tad taller. I'm pretty sure the Iron and 48 share the same bars.

I did a little more research and found the measuremets. The nightster bars are to close to my own bars. The 48 and iron bars are norrower and have a smaller rise...which is what I'm looking for. I can't seem to find a set of 48 bars for sale though. Everytime someone posts them they get snatched right up. lol. I think I found another set that'll work perfect for what I want. I want a look like these.

But I don't want one piece bars like that. I want to use seperate risers and handlebars so I can retain the clamp. My guages mount there and I want to keep my stock guages and mounting bracket. The bar part of the mx-tbars have a 2" rise. I found some tracker bars by biltwell that are pretty close to the same shape. They have a 1.75 rise, and they are 30 tip to tip which is a little narrower than my stock bars. Just what I wanted. Thanks for posting with help.

The Biltwell Tracker bar might work for you.
