I finally bought a 97 sportster basket case and am in the process of assembling it right now. Gonna ride it for a while in stock 883 form and then do some upgrades from Hammer. I'm just not sure at the moment how far I want to go with the work.

It will pretry much just be for around town cruising and showing up the idiots around town with their mustangs, camaros, etc.

I'm really leaning toward Hammer's 90 Hp package. It sounds like a great bang for the buck. Any suggestions or comments would be helpful.

By the way, I read this thread from beginning to end and would love to see it make a comeback.

Who else has pics of them rippin it on their sporty?

Same here and I don't even have my Sporty yet. I stumbled across this thread by accident- it made for interesting rainy-day reading. Bookmarked for future use. Thank you Madnss!

Curious now if he ever reached 10.5s.
