Default So what route to go after stage 1?

Well I have stage one on my 1200c for a season now and I'm thinking of kicking things up a notch. Theres an SV650 in town thats I been hopping to surprise one day.

I have a highflow intake (K&N),V&H Shotshots, rejet.

Whats next folks? I dont feel like breaking the bank but around 700-1200 dollars is reasonable Course if there is some cheep hot to trot stuff out there let me know!!!!

Thanks for your input

You could get a1250 kit for $750 or you could get a cam and headwork done. Check out NRHS here http://www.nrhsperformance.com/

Nope you could make your 1200 a 1250 also and at the same time increase your compression to 10.5:1. When you just use the kit on an 883 without any headwork you get 10:1 compression pistons.
Here is the link for the 883 to1250 conversion http://www.nrhsperformance.com/ekit8831200.shtml
and here is the link for the 1200 to 1250 conversion http://www.nrhsperformance.com/ekitsportster04.shtml

Good luck with that, I rode an SV for 6 years before I got my Dyna. The Dynas been a bit of a let down ever since.Seriously though, the HP numbers for a stage one 1200 Sporty and a stage 1 SV are pretty close, around 70ish the big difference is in weight. My SV with a few assorted bits removed weighs less than 400lbs with a full tank of gas. 1200 Sportys are runnin what, around 550 these days?

Yep Thats why i need more power!!!!! LOL

I can keep up with him sort of, and I really dont have any true ideas of ever beating him, especially when he cracks it open on the highway, then hes just gone, lol.

Really I just want to go faster. Not that the sporty is slow but hey who doesnt want to go faster sometimes?

I think I jsut discoved what really has happened here....

After stage one I will never forget teh first ride when I cracked it open and my eyes popped open wide and the grin started from ear to ear as BLAAAAAAAAAAAA<shift>BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP PPPPPP<Shift>VRAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM MM<crap theres a cop> <BRAKES>

I want that again.....

and i want those cool *** high compression switches, those things are neat!
