Default 1200 converted to what?

Just wondering for future reference, the 1200 Forty-Eight can be converted too ? , I see a lot of 883 posts to convert them to 1200 or 1250's but can't seem to find one for the 1200's

you could convert it to a 1250, or go 88" or 90" if you wanted to drop the bux on it.

check the NRHS website.

Yeah, as high as 90" (within a "reasonable" budget - some have gone higher).

As stated, check our NRHS.

Assuming $5,000+ is your definition of reasonable.

883 conversions are popular for obvious reasons. You already have the larger bike, so your way ahead is down to making the most of what you have, by raising compression ratio, headwork, cams, plus the usual suspects of exhaust, air filter and tuner. Or going seriously bigger as already mentioned!

How fast can you afford to go?!

to many different things... a 1203, 1212, 1250, 88ci, 90ci....

I personally would go a bump in CR and do a 30deg piston with some headwork and cams... that would give you a NICE bump in power and still be streetable.

Call either shop and ask them what it would cost...

I believe with a Zippers kit, you can go to 100". I think S&S has a 103" kit. They ain't cheap, but, then speed never is.

You can not go 100" or over with out changing the crank and case. So in essence you will not be converting........you'll be replacing.
