Default 2012 48 Tire is marked "Tubeless"

I'm trying to learn as many basics as I can about my bike, so I decided to take a closer look at the tires. I noticed that the Michelin Scorcher "31" tire is labeled "Tubeless", but I thought that since it is a spoked wheel that it has a tube inside.

It does have a tube in there, doesn't it?

If it's spoked, it's got a tube. It probably says tubless for mag wheel otherwise with tube if spoked. Or something in those words. Tires are made to fit on both spoked and mag rims.

Wire spoked wheels are now available to take tubeless tyres, believe it or not! I'm not sure if yours can, but as cpracing says, your tyres can be used without tubes, even if your bike has them.

Your tire can go without a tube............your wheel can not.

Ok. I figured it was similar to my bicycle tire, tube and wheel set-up. Just saw that stamp on the tire, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks for the info!
