Hey Meathead. I was out and about sunday as well. Took a nice ride down the boulder river south of BigTimber then headed over to Livingston and back, wind was whippin' here as well. I plan on a ride up to Harlowton next weekend, might run into ya!!!

Hay C Jay,
The Crazys and Snowys are looking good up here!
I got out for a little scoot today after work. Sun out and about 60 degrees, there was no way I couldn't. Rode up to the wind mills at Judith Gap, turned around and stopped at Sportmans Bar and had ONE Corona. Putted around town. Noticed three riders from Billings at the Oasis. I almost stopped in to shoot the breeze, but decided not to.
I have noticed that young women wave at me when I ride by. They never waved when I was driving my beat-up '81 F150 primer gray4X4 pickemup truck!! Must be the rumble yer soul sound of the bike, as it sure isn't my ugly mug and over weight frame!!
Had about a 20 mph full value west wind up at the Gap. Met a few semis. I went to the farright sidelane, and of course I felt to blast but the bike was very solid and didn't get drawn in at all! I am starting to really like this bike!
I am off Sunday, March 11. If you are coming up, give me a call at 632-5820, or 632-5570(work). I would enjoy a ride with another Sportster rider. If weather is good, maybe a run to White Sulpher would be in order. I am still breaking in the bike, so I will not ride past 60 mph..........meathead

I brooded, and pondered and considered some more before buying my 883. I had ridden a few different “big twins” and while I like them all I decided I should stick to a budget. The dealer who is a friend of my brothers suggested an 883 he took in on trade. It was a 99 with 1500 miles on it and would sell it to me for $4000. He told me that if it wasn’t for me I could easily sell it to get my money back. I put 4000 miles on it in three months. I love my 883, I love the cornering, the acceleration, the way she sounds (drag pipes) at a stop light. The only gripe I have about my ride is the seat but I will be picking up a Corbin this summer that should fix that.

Congratulations and keep the rubber side down.
