Default Solo spring seat for 2013 Iron

I am not particularly happy with the stock seat on my 2013 Iron. I'm not very heavy (160lbs) so I assume that is why the ride is harder for me. I ride on city streets, usually under 45mph, and every time I hit a bump I think about those spring seats. Has anyone converted to the spring seats and do they feel just as I dream they would? Or are they stiff as well. I was thinking about the "bad *** La Rosa solo seat." But I saw a few photos and they don't really look as nice on the bike, looks high, but I am more interested on the ride anyway.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Find a local upholstery shop. Get it repaded and wrapped. You'll pay under $100 and love it. That's what I did with my 72

Joeypucks... PM sent!

Okay... For some reason can't pm you. $300 but the bike is in storage at the dealer. Look up the springer seat and istallation kit on HD. Didn't realize it cost so much to get this seat on. Honestly, what I don't like about is I can't ride more than a tank without wantitng to get off and rest, stretch, just walk around. Like I said, NOT COMFORTABLE, but the looks are GREAT! Flows with the lines of the iron like nothing else I've seen. Really hate to sell due to cosmetic value.

Try V-Twin Mfg., they got a kit that has a K-model seat made from real leather and the whole kit is only about $150.00. I've got one on my 48 and love it. You can stay in the saddle all day. They say it'll only fit up to a 2006 model but it fit my 2011 perfectly.

The kit is $229 and the springer seat is $299. You have to buy the seat and the install kit. Thats a total of over $500. Yes, I'd take $300 for mine. Seat and kit. It's the black spring seat, not the black one with diamond stitching, but the other. It's in great condition.

Ah, sorry misunderstood. Do you happen to have a photo of it on your bike?
