I'm lookin to get rid of the ham can also. Thanks for the video. Really makes it simple. I've got an 06 883 and want to squeeze a bit more out of the little monster also.

I have XiED's but my bike is an 883. Maybe Kevin from DK will chime in and suggest the best route for you to go. Also, you can jump on the Nightrider website and they have suggestions for which harnesses to use with what motors.

 

I saw in your signature that you have a 2012 XL. If you are wanting one for this bike, you would benefit more from either the XIEDs or the VIEDs. The only difference between the two is that you can vary the VIED. If you do not want to mess with changing the enrichment, then I would go with the XIED. The 2011 and up XLs really like the little extra fuel the XIED gives over the X14IEDs.
