finally got my drag bars on!
So after driving all over the place to piece a brake line together and then having to get the banjo fitting drilled out for the master cylinder, I finally got my drag bars on. and they are AWESOME. I only have 1 pic for now, the weather has sucked lately and my living room isnt the best place to take pics.

RE: finally got my drag bars on!
The hardest part was the brake line. Harley doesn't sell a shorter one for the 1200R but they did sell the pieces to piece one together. I checked online and I wouldn't have really saved anything, although I didn't look really hard, just at J&P cycles. I had no idea what to get so I just went to the stealer. Here's what I got, other than the 27" drag bars and grips.
1 - arlen ness brake tee (its what they had)
2 - inverter flare 90º long (the short ones will hit the front fender)
2 - 16" brake lines (i think 15" would work)
2 - 10mm 35º banjo fittings for the calipers
1 - Harley junction 120º x 90º (to go from the tee to the master cylinder)
1 - 11" brake line (with 27" bars the cylinder is a straight shot and a 10" would be perfect, again, i didnt know what to get)
1 - 12mm straight banjo fitting ( here is the tricky part. the original bolt wouldnt go through a 12mm although all the books say that it uses a 12mm. I had to get mine drilled out. if you have a drill press you could do it urself. If yours does fit let me know, cuz that means something is screwy with my bike)
I used the stock risers and when I turn to the right it would barely hit the tank, so I put a piece of rubber at the bottom of the triple tree where it stops you from turning anymore to stop it from going. I actually used one of those things you put on the bottom of table legs to keep them from sliding and just cut a piece off to fit. There is no way to tell unless you are looking for it.
I have not been able to ride it except for one day, and I loved the way it rode. It seemed to handle a lot better and I had no problem with the position. I still have mid controls on my bike.
If you need anymore explaination just ask.
