I welded up a simple bracket and bolted it to the lower tree to try and get a little bit of a chopper look going. It was on a build I did last May and I picked up a Bates style 39 dollar headlight from J&P cycles when I did it. There weren't any wires in it because I was just running a headlight and a taillight which made the headlight change much easier.

I like my unibrow, looks better with the black visor trim ring.

That 2nd pic of your rigid gives me flashbacks to when I was a kid. My dad’s buddies would roll up to our house on similar bikes, drink beer, smoke and tell dirty jokes … good times.

that thing is sweet. love the king and queen. what's up with that shifter peg though? you ride it like that? i thought it might be a foot clutch and started looking for a hand shift but i don't see one.

Sold that bike. I'm not sure what it is exactly that you mean about the pegs, just stock mids. That bike was a '98 883 hugger that I put a 4" stretch hardtail on, I really had a great time doing it, I did it last May, then sold it pretty soon after completion. If you need any info on anything though feel free, thanks for the kind words. I picked up another Sporty not long ago, a 1200 custom, '96. I have been chippin' away at it for the past few weeks, got rid of alot of wiring, new bars, and I still have the swinarm from the hardtail , so I'm going to try and combine the two swingarms to get 4" or so of stretch, just trying to slim it down as much as possible and give it a bit more wheel base, mostly just head scratchin' right now. I might do a thread on the process if it starts to look like something, I just never take pictures as I go when I'm getting into stuff.

Look at the shifter, it appears 5" higher than the peg. I think that's what he was asking about.
