I personally use the Harley Davidson "automatic dimming" glasses. I love the fact I do not have to switch lenses with changing light conditions! Other bonuses include:
- almost instant dimming changes
- darn near crushproof case
- cold weather doesnt cause dimming or non dimming
Not thrilled about:
- foam insert(optional to use) is rather janky. does not seem to fasten to frames real well
- price.

just my thoughts and experience....[sm=smiley16.gif]

I have a set of goggles that I love. I'm not sure who made them. They came with clear, dark smoke and amber lens. Also a quick disconnect to convert from goggles to sunglasses. And a nifty little belt bag that will carry it all. I don't use the bag. On the strap that snaps in when in goggle mode Jack Daniel is printed on the side. I bought them on ebay. As I said, I have NO idea what company actually produces these for Jack Daniel, but if you find a goggle/sunglasses package that sounds like these....BUY IT! They are fantastic. I think I paid around $35 for the entire thing.

That's what I wear with my half helmet. In REALLY cold weather, I will break down and use a full face helmet.

polarized are the best for sun, they block out the horizontal glare.... unless your navigating a plane, , or a down hill skier, you should be fine.... don't know what the issue would be with a full face shield, it wouldn't be the glasses.... it would be the shield, and glasses combo.... actually, whatever keeps the bugs and wind from your eyes, is fine....

grey tint is best for natural color/ brown is best for evening riding (seringetti's) and if you have any rotten cagers, yellow for accuracy while shooting....

I just picked these up!

http://www.aosafety.com/diy/eye_deta..._platform_id=7

I got them at Lowe's for $49.99 and they seem to be pretty good. It came with the frames, three sets of polycarbonet lenses, Clear(very slight tint), dark tinted and red reflective tint (darker than the dark tint-dosen't look red when you look through it. They fit tight to the face and wrap around the eye pretty good. Also came with a microfiber bag and a sleve to put the other sets of lenses in and a lanyard.

I'm going to put them on at work tomorrow and shoot my self in the eye with 180psi from the comp. and see how they work, If they will keep out the wind from the comp. have to work on the bike.

I'll post up what I find.

They seem to be good, not too much wind in the eye considering the amount of air and the blow gun I was using.

The glasses seem to be good quality and the lenses pop out and in quiet well. I think they are worth a look for the money if any one else out there is in the market for some eye wear.
