@ Imold It's a factory color from 2008 called Candy Red Sunglo.
The most difficult part of my project was picking a relocation kit for the speedo. I'm very happy with the Roland Sands speedo relocation kit I used. It took a little modifying but was worth the wait.

Superb machine Jeff. Love the low look you've got with those slammers. Looks real sleek.

I wish I could find it, but there was a thread somewhere about taking that strip off. It's held on by double-sided tape, no need for a repaint. The photos that were posted looked pretty good, it's painted and finished under that strip, the only issue is the gas cap looks all wrong without the stip... that's the only thing I remember.

Thanks for the info. I'd been thinking a flush cap would look good, might be the answer to that problem. But I'd still like a different color. Paint looks good in pics, but closeup it's a little worn, and some small scratches on the front fender, all there when I got it. I've painted before, pretty sure I can do what I've been thinking about. Got the original peanut tank off my other sporty I've been thinking of experimenting with, paint can be fun, too. The good stuff just costs so much...
